Do you handle taxes or bookkeeping?
No. Burnwiser tracks spending and shows you a real P&L. It doesn't do bookkeeping, file taxes, or replace your accountant. If you need full accounting software, look at Wave, FreshBooks, or QuickBooks.
What if Burnwiser parses an invoice incorrectly?
You can edit any parsed expense manually. Burnwiser also merges duplicate receipts automatically and closes subscriptions when recurring invoices stop appearing.
What invoice formats and languages do you support?
Any PDF invoice or receipt. Burnwiser supports PDF invoices and receipts in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, and most common European invoice formats. If something parses incorrectly, you can edit the fields manually.
What counts as a "project"?
A project is one business or product whose finances you want to track separately. Two SaaS apps on two Stripe accounts? That's two projects. One consultancy business with multiple clients? That's one project. The free tier supports one project; multiple projects require a paid plan.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. Burnwiser works from invoice PDFs and revenue integrations like Stripe. No bank connection required.
What's on the roadmap?
Renewal alerts, Gmail invoice pull, additional payment platform integrations, and smarter subscription detection are all on the roadmap. Feature requests welcome.
